- The Classic dress -
Autumn is really close and the chilly fall weather is getting closer here in Switzerland but last week in New York it was HOT and not like 30°C with a little breeze, it was like someone was holding a hairdryer on you the whole day and you just felt like having a little dip in a pool (which is rather impossible in a big city). Anyways we could have had rain all week so we were really lucky and I was able to wear my favourite summer clothes for one of the last times this year (let’s pray for and Indian summer).
I love a classic slip dress, they are so versatile, there are like a hundred different ways to wear them; in summer on it’s own or with a tee underneath and in autumn you just have to add layers like a turtleneck, a blazer, boots and you are good to go. Slip dresses can seem hard to style and at first I wasn’t sure if it would be my thing but now I love them and there is nothing easier to wear. You just put it on and instantly look chic, well-dressed and I love the Carrie Bradshaw vibe. I got this one from & other stories a couple years back, but I found some that are perfect for fall; Topshop Satin Slip Dress, Zara Draped Camisole Dress, Mango Ribbed Jersey Dress and & Other Stories Midi Slip Dress.
