Buttoning up and Down

After browsing through a few shops lately, I have definitely seen a strong leather game going on. Whether in the form of a shirt, blazers, trousers, skirts and a lot of dresses. Ganni’s leather dress probably being one of the most famous ones so far and also my favourite one. I love the balance between the oversized shape and the leather which makes it smart. Now is the perfect time of the year to get it out and feel fancy wearing a bit of leather.

I found this dress at Weekday a few weeks back when I was in Paris and it made me a tad more excited about fall to finally be able to wear it without melting down under the heavy fabric ( warning: not a good idea to wear it when the sun is shining, the risk of your body overheating is very high).

I’ve had my eyes on all the leather dresses and when I found this one I loved pretty much everything about it. The shirt collar, the buttons going all the way down in the front, the longer sleeves and the colour, which is perfect for autumn.

I chose to wear it with my Muji trainers and white ankle socks but it would look great with barely-there sandals or boots.
