I tried on this dress a few times and waited so long until they didn’t have it in my size anymore (why does it always happen to me?). I looked online and in what felt like every single COS in London. All the visits have been unsuccessful. And you know, you always want the things you can’t have even more so I had one last hope; Switzerland. Guess what? I was right! They still had my size left and it was 50% off so, in the end, you could say that I’ve done everything right!
It really reminds me of the Cecilie Bahnsen pieces that are always minimalistic, sculptural pieces with playful proportions.
I love the puffed sleeves and the ruffled hem, giving it a voluminous fit. It is the perfect blend between minimalistic, elegant and delicate whilst still being loose and oversized to make it look very casual. Wear it with some chunky trainers and you have a great effortless outfit for lunch with friends. I definitely got inspired by no other than Brittany who always gets every outfit on point. I can’t wait to wear this dress this summer and fall, combining it with different things.
