April Favourites

April has been a very good month, probably the best of 2019 so far. It feels so good when the weather finally improves, the blossoms show up and the sun makes an appearance for a bit longer than 2 hours a week.  Also made my way through all the dark easter chocolate and it is a wonder I haven’t turned into an egg yet – I’ll report back though! I ended up booking a little city break to Paris in August – be prepared for some Paris content – and another one back to Switzerland with a friend from London which I am so excited about. As I have been eyeing up the Chanel sandals for a pretty long time now, I finally found very similar ones which – I may or may not – have bought. And, public service announcement; Iced Coffee Season has finally started! I have also discovered a few new things this month that I really really like. And there is about everything included with a serious theme going on.

READ – I have read two of the best books this month. You know when you just can’t put it down and wish that is a never-ending story? I feel quite lucky to have had two of these in one month. ‘The Tattooist Of Auschwitz’ is the first one. I can’t recommend it enough! Such an eye-opening read bringing up so many different emotions and thoughts.

READ – The second book has been ‘Daisy Jones & The Six’. Completely different but equally as good! A pop culture book about a rock’n’roll band in the 70’s written in a journalistic/ interview style. I was afraid to struggle to get into it but the complete opposite happened.

WATCH – okay, I am probably one of the last people on this planet jumping on the Bohemian Rhapsody bandwagon but can we just take a moment and talk about how good it is. Just so so good I want to sing every song from the top of the roof and live in the 70s. Maybe I should stop with all these 70s band-related things because I feel like I am developing an obsession.

EAT – I have been loving my grain-free granola, it is so good and seriously addictive (I have warned you!).

FACE – The Drunk Elephant cleansing balm is a game-changer! It takes your makeup off in a matter of seconds and is so nourishing. I have written a whole post about it if you want to learn more, I just had to include it here to make sure to give it the credit it deserves.
