Am I Ready?

I am currently sitting at my desk, my face tripled in size after getting my four wisdom teeth removed. I look like a blue-green hamster and don’t feel like doing anything, just wondering how long it will take to look normal again and get my original skin colour back. Well, this is not about my cheeks, I have other news.

In exactly one week I am moving to London. Yes, the Swiss girl from the countryside is moving to the big city and I couldn’t be more excited about this new chapter in my life. There are probably going to be times that are going to be hard and I will have those lonely Bridget Jones moments but I know that there are also going to be so many exciting things happening. I think that these moments are completely normal and part of a new adventure and stepping out of your comfort zone.

I always loved London and went there many times, falling in love with the city a bit more every time. Ever since the first time there I knew that I wanted to live in this city one day and now it is only one week away, I still can’t believe it and I am so grateful that I have this opportunity and that my parents are supporting me in everything I do in my life. I can’t wait to finally call this city ‘HOME’ after so many years thinking about living there.

So yeah I am more than ready for this massive change and can’t wait to see what life brings next. Embracing the hard moments and the exciting ones. There is excitement but also a bit of apprehension as I don’t know what it is actually like to live alone but everyone has to learn and make new experiences right? I still can’t believe how lucky I am to do something like that. And this one week still feels too long, I just can’t wait for this change.
