A Pop Of Colour

- SPICING UP A TRENCH -

After having found the perfect trench earlier this year, I feel like my wardrobe is complete. It was one piece that was seriously missing – especially since living in the land of the rain. The hunt was long and exhausting, I checked for vintage Burberry’s ones, all way too expensive and the majority of trenches on the high street had one thing I didn’t like. The shade, the fit, the length, the interior,… you name it – always something wrong!

Then I went back home to Switzerland and found this amazing one in the sale section at H&M. Seriously, it was the last place I thought I would find my beloved coat. Perfect fit (oversized always!), amazing beige shade and under £30.

Since buying it, I have been wearing it on repeat. As soon as it looks a bit gloomy outside – which it does quite often at the moment – the trench is on and I am ready to go. Recently I have been loving to wear it with just jeans, my men’s crew neck knit from Uniqlo and a pop of colour coming from the socks. I know a lot of people – hello mum – hate socks with trainers but I think it adds a bit of casualness to every outfit. And I found a couple of new pairs in the sale at COS (if you haven’t bought socks there yet, I don’t know what you have been doing).
