6 Go-To Makeup Products

May I say that I am a little beauty junkie. I love to try out new things and see the effects on my skin – sometimes positive sometimes a bit less. Even though I love to experiment, my everyday makeup routine is quite simple with some basic but amazing products. The finish is a glowy, fresh looking face, that doesn’t look like you have put a whole tube of foundation on your skin. So these are my go-to products for an easy everyday look.

It Cosmetics – Your Skin But Better CC Cream Even after two years of using it, I can’t stop talking about this CC cream. I haven’t found something similar yet and I am not sure I ever will. The new Maybelline foundation that is supposed to be quite similar hasn’t convinced me so far but I will experiment with it a bit more and let you know my thoughts. But in the meantime, go and grab yourself a tube of this magic stuff.

Maybelline – Eraser Eye Concealer It is such a basic concealer but so good. Not to heavy not too lightweight and I personally love the application sponge. I always switch between this one and the Glossier Stretch Concealer but most of the time I prefer this a teeny tiny bit more.

Benefit – Hoola Well another basic and truly loved product. I have had this one for years now – must be out of date – but it doesn’t seem to get to an end. It is just a really good bronzer that does exactly what you are hoping to get from such a product. I know that I can always count on it to give my pale face that extra hint of bronziness.

It Cosmetics – Brow Power Universal Eyebrow Pencil I never bought it myself as I  always got a tester when I bought the CC Cream but I love it. The fact that it comes in one shade and the harder you press the darker it gets is amazing. Again, perfect for a simple everyday look.

Glossier – Cloud Paint This product gives you that pop of colour you need to look healthy. It blends in so well with the other products, just be cautious with the amount you use, a little bit goes a *really* long way.

Max Factor – Rise And Shine False Lash Effect Mascara  Mascara is something I hate to buy, it is so hard to find one that you truly love and that works for your lashes. The last couple of years I have been using the Lancôme Hypnôse and it always was my all-time favourite one. After trying a few other ones and never finding the right brush/ formula for me, I bought this new Max Factor one and let me tell you, I love it. It costs half of the Hypnôse one and is nearly as good. It even smells like cucumber – a little bonus point if you aren’t convinced yet.
